The Move-Out Board is based on the move-out checklist. The Move-Out Board provides an organized display of the tasks that you must accomplish when moving out a resident.
Moving a Resident Out
Using the Move-Out Board helps you and your residents complete all necessary move-out tasks before they leave the property.
Before you begin:
- An admin user must set up your move-out checklist.
- An admin user must set up your move-out board.
- In Entrata, go to Residents >> All Residents.
- In the left sidebar, hover over the board icon and click Move-out Board to open the Move-out Board screen.
- Click Filters in the top left corner to open the Move-out Board Filters window.
- Select options from the desired filters, and then click Search to apply the selected filters.
- In the resident listing section in the middle of the screen, click the resident that you want to move out.
- On the right side of the screen, click the action button in-line with a completed checklist item. The item is marked as complete and moves down the list.
The name of the action button will vary depending on the checklist item.
- To override a checklist item requirement, click the green checkmark icon in-line with the checklist item.
- Once all required items are complete, click Perform Move-out.
- In the Perform Move-out screen, select an option from the Move-out Type drop-down menu.
- Review and fill out all required fields, and then click Perform Move Out at the bottom of the screen to update the Move-out Board and change the resident's status to Past.
Depending on the Move-out Type selected, the name of the green button at the bottom of the screen may vary.
