Hey Team,
This Valentine’s Day, we’re showing our teams some LOVE by cleaning up and streamlining your Entrata environment! 💘 No chocolates or flowers—just real improvements that will make your workflows smoother and your dashboards cleaner. Here’s what’s rolling out on Tuesday, February 18th:
Past Due Inspection Display – Past due inspections (like those never-completed move-in inspection forms) will now be hidden by default. You can still search for them, but they won’t clutter your view.
Applications Marked as Complete Several tickets have been received to either reverse or mark applications as incomplete. This is due to applications being mistakenly marked as complete without the required data. We are updating this process to ensure any application needing to be marked complete that requires a screening bypass (placeholders, etc.) must have a corresponding ticket for approval. This change will help maintain consistency, improve tracking, and ensure all exceptions are properly documented.
Dashboard Notifications – We’ve updated notifications to prioritize important and urgent tasks, ensuring things like Document Verification, Transfers, FMOs, Violations, Work Orders, Delinquency Notices, and Move-In Reviews are surfaced when they need attention. Less digging, more doing!
Application > Financial Tab Update – To make reporting easier, we’ll now only ask for annual income instead of both monthly and annual. One simple number = fewer headaches.
Roommate Groups - This is already a feature that is used, which allows future residents to indicate their future roommate groups by including their roommate's email address. We are working on how-to's for those that are confused about this process and the BUA. Stay tuned!
Leads & Applications: Now Separate – Leads and active applications require different strategies, so we’re separating them into different dashboard tabs. This means you can focus on hot leads without them getting lost in the application shuffle.
The Big One: Entrata Cost Code Cleanup! – We know the current list is full of duplicates, redundancies, and codes no one even uses. @Dawn and her team are tackling this head-on, with guidance from Operations and @Ashley, removing the clutter and adding codes that actually make sense for your teams and financial reporting. This will take place over the month of March, but we’re excited for the impact it’ll have!
Coming Up Next: 🚀 We’re setting our sights on cleaning up maintenance locations and problems to streamline maintenance reporting and improve the resident experience. Stay tuned!
