ENTRATA DASHBOARD
This guide provides an overview of Entratas Dashboard. The Dashboard aims to provide a user-friendly interface for easy navigation and task resolution. Additional features include quick links to frequently used areas, property metrics, and search filters to give you the most control over how you complete tasks. One significant feature of the Entrata Dashboard is the What’s Next column, which directs you to the next logical task to complete.
Taskbar
- The Dashboard’s taskbar houses a series of tabs organized by functional categories (Approvals, Leads, Residents, etc.). The taskbar has been designed to guide you directly to the highest priority tasks. Each tab on the Dashboard houses its own set of subtabs to further organize your tasks.
- For example, if a lead recently submitted a guest card, a task item appears in the list under Dashboard >> My Dashboard >> Leads >> Contact Needed. From here, you can contact the lead.
Task Priority
- Each main tab and subtab has a color and number associated with it. The colors represent the highest priority level of at least one item within that tab or subtab.
- Priority Indicators
- Red = Urgent
- Orange = Important
- Gray = Normal
- The number indicates the total number of tasks within that tab or subtab.
Quick View
- Filters, quick links, and metrics are all organized under the Quick View section for convenience. The Quick View can be found on the right side of the screen.
Quick Links
- In the Quick Links tab, you can click on various links that direct you to commonly performed actions for the products you have enabled. For example, if your property uses ResidentPay®, you will see a quick link to Make Resident Payment. Clicking the link will open the Add Payment window where you can add a payment to a resident’s ledger. You can even add a specific resident charge.
Entrata Calendar
- In the Calendar tab, you can schedule events and manage time. For more information on using the calendar, see the Entrata Calendar article in the Entrata Help Center.
Metrics
- Under the Metrics tab, you can view the Availability (Units), Prospects & Applicants, and Leasing (Last 30 Days) reports. These reports are useful for tracking real time data about your properties, prospects, and residents.
Filters
- In the Filter tab, you can filter dashboard lists. You may filter by Property, Employees, and Task Priorities. Applying filters will help you locate and complete tasks with efficiency.
Actions In the Dashboard
General Actions
- Some actions can be performed from the area above the list in any given tab or subtab. The most common actions found above the list include selecting all items in a list, contacting a lead or resident, canceling or archiving leads, printing documents, viewing reports, additional filters, and more.
What’s Next Actions
- The last (or near to last) column of a list under any tab or subtab is the What’s Next column. The What’s Next column will always display a button or menu which either resolves the next action that needs to take place for that particular list item or redirects you to the location in Entrata where the action can be resolved.
View Reports
- You can access reports related to the Dashboard section you are currently viewing. If there are reports available, a drop-down menu appears above the What’s Next column and is represented by a bar graph icon.
- For example, if you click on the Leads tab, and then on the Assign Agents subtab, the available report under the bar graph icon is the Lead Detail report. Clicking on it will open the report.
