Creating a ResidentPortal Account in Entrata
If a resident has trouble creating their ResidentPortal account online, you can create their account for them.
- In Entrata, go to Residents >> All Residents.
- Select a resident by clicking on their name to open the Resident Profile.

- You can also use the filter to search for a resident. Click the filter icon to open the filter pop-up window.
- In the Quick View section on the right-hand side of the screen, click Edit.
- Enter the resident's email address into the Email textbox and create a new password by typing it into the Password textbox, or click Auto-Generate Password.

- When auto-generating a password, check the Email Password checkbox to email the password to the user.
- Auto-generating the password creates a unique and secure password, which Is then given to the resident to access their account. Once the resident has logged Into Resident Portal, they should Immediately update their password.
- Click Save. The resident uses their email address and new password to log In to ResidentPortal.
Notes:
- If an applicant has not completed their application, they can't log in to ResidentPortal. The lease status in the Resident Profile must be Future.
