Resetting a Resident's ResidentPortal Password
If a resident cannot reset their password using the Forgot Password link in ResidentPortal, you can reset it for them.
- In Entrata, go to Residents >> All Residents.
- Select a resident by clicking on their name to open the Resident Profile.

- You can also use the filter to search for a resident. Click the filter icon to open the filter pop-up window.
- In the Quick View section on the right-hand side of the screen, click Edit.
- Create a new password by typing it into the Password textbox, or click Auto-Generate Password.
- When auto-generating a password, check the Email Password checkbox to email the password to the user.
- Auto-generating the password creates a unique and secure password, which is then given to the resident to access their account. Once the resident has logged in to ResidentPortal, they should immediately update their password.
- Click Save to save the resident's new password.
